Harman reaches Rajat Singh’s house and beats the door, shouting at him to come out. The door was locked but Harman was drunk and notices later. He wonders what he isn’t home. He thinks Suomya was late, he must not have come this late.
Some street men recognizes Suomya and harass her for being the kinner. Someone reaches as Suomya’s defender and attacks the street guys. Suomya was stunned as she watches Rajat’s fighting skills and moves. Rajat says society has the same old nature, they blindly watch the drama and leave without a word. He snatches and breaks a cell phone of a man making a video. Suomya thanks Rajat. She asks if he is leaving. Rajat says he is going far away from here, to get rid of her and her lover. Suomya says they had high hopes from him. Why he came over to save her today then, she could have fought her fight like she has done till today. Harman comes there and says she isn’t alone, he will fight with her to bring their Soham back. He thanks Rajat for saving his wife and says its alright, they can find another lawyer. He apologizes Suomya for letting her alone, he must always be with her. Suomya replies he is always in her heart. Harman says he would have died if… Suomya shuts his face. They leave for home, arm in arm. Rajat silently observes this.
Veeran scolds Shanno on call that he won’t come over anyway. Preeto tells him to go to Shanno. She knows Shanno didn’t support them, still she must be alone. Veeran says he knows well, he has to live here and Shanno must also return here one day. He can’t overlook she witnessed against them.
The next morning, Harman wakes up and finds Suomya asleep. He rubs his hand over her hand. she opens her eyes. He presents her with a rose and says I am sorry. She takes the rose, he presents another rose and says he must have agreed to her. Suomya says she always tell him to drink less. Harman holds her ears and promises he will stop drinking when she will stop him. Suomya says somehow she had hope that Rajat would help them, but he was ready to leave the village instead. She wonders where they will get another lawyer. They hear Harak Singh call everyone to the hall. He says people of Gurdaspur aren’t with them, but this nation is theirs. The date of election has been announced, they must get their votes registered. Harman was annoyed that their child couldn’t get their rights, Harak Singh cares for elections. Harak Singh says like they need a good lawyer, their country also need a good prime minister. They go to get their voter ID registered.
Suomya stands with Preeto in women’s line. Some women ask Suomya if she is a woman who would stand in this line, she must leave before they push her outside. One of the man taunts that if Harman considers her a man, she can join the line of men. Preeto and Harak Singh tell Suomya to leave. Mama ji says even they don’t consider her a male or female. She stands in a line distinct from either men or women.
Rajat Singh reach there on his bike. Harman and Suomya were shocked to see him there. He comes to Suomya and says there must be a line for kinners as well, then inquires the staff if they forgot her line or they don’t want to make one. He tells Suomya to fill the form, and tick ‘Others’ in the gender column. It’s her right, else there must not have been a column of others in the form. Suomya goes to the staff and was given her form. She fills the form and ticks the column of ‘Third Gender’. Rajat warns they will all be dragged in court if Suomya is harassed. He is her lawyer, and anyone would converse with Suomya through him now. He is Rajat Singh, Suomya’s advocate. He says he will fight Suomya’s case, against the thinking of them and their society. Suomya thankfully smiles and joins her hands for Rajat, he nods at Suomya and Harman.
Later, Rajat was at Harak Singh’s house. He asks about files of Suomya’s case. Harman goes inside. Preeto comes there and says she and her family believes eating sweet yougurt is a good omen before any new work. Rajat Singh takes a bite. Harman brings the files, and offers any help if needed. Rajat leaves with the files. Harman tells Suomya he was sure an angel would soon be here to help them. Today, it’s the first step of the fight of her Astitvya. Her voter ID is her real identity.
Rajat Singh opens his office, and reads Suomya’s case. He prepares tea for himself, then make notices of the case all night long.
The next morning, Rajat answers a door bell. A lawyer stood outside. Rajat says it’s not a temple that they can come over anytime. The lawyer asks if he is fighting the case of that kinner. Rajat asks what he wants. The lawyer intrigues Rajat that Suomya’s past lawyer also vanished from the scene. He will get a dead end ahead. Rajat slaps him hard, and says he heard and understood extremely well; would he hear this? He plays the recording of his words and warns he would be the first lawyer to leave the court as a criminal himself. The lawyer leaves. Rajat calls Harman to meet him in the court within half an hour along with Suomya.
Outside High Court, people chanted slogans against Suomya Kinner. Rajat says its good they are three now. On one side is Suomya’s love, on the other side is hand of trust. The three hold hands.
PRECAP: Preeto prepares Pulao for everyone. Varun comes to tell everyone that Soham has 105 degree fever. Suomya was concerned and wanted to meet Soham. She then slaps Varun.
