Rajat Singh speaks to the media that he was happy the case has been reopened, its first hearing in three days. He challenges the crowd he will meet them here to chant for victory of Suomya. Suomya was relieved.
Preeto was happy and decides to cook something nice for them.
Sukhinder discuss with Varun that their lawyer can’t face Rajat Singh, he is a strong lawyer. They must think about something else.
The goons in the crowd taunts Rajat Singh that if he also turned into a kinner that he took a kinner’s case after years. Rajat takes a photo of the crowd, then asks the journalist for a footage to be sent by email.
Sukhinder calls Chaddha ji and requests him to fight a case against Rajat Singh. Chaddha gives them an appointment.
At Rajat’s house, he turns to bring coffee and offers them. Suomya says she can make it for them. Rajat says he points a number of mistakes in coffee as well. Suomya goes towards the kitchen.
Rajat asks Harman what Sukhinder deters them for. Harman says Sukhinder has been intriguing them for a long time now. Harman wasn’t attentive, Rajat asks Harman to help him. Harman says he can sense something is troubling Suomya now, can he go to help her. Rajat asks how he can know about her tension, while sitting here. Harman replies they are connected by heart, and he can’t let Suomya remain tensed for long. Rajat allows him to go to kitchen, coffee bottle is in the cabinet besides refrigerator. Harman says Rajat is like a coconut, strong from the shell and soft from inside. Rajat replies coconut breaks one’s head if it fells over someone. He apologizes Rajat for considering the coconut, a stone.
In the kitchen, Harman gives the coffee and sugar to Suomya as directed by Rajat. Suomya says Harman always know whenever she is in problem. Harman says he wanted to have romance with her. Suomya tells him to go outside, Rajat must be waiting outside.
Rajat matches the faces of the crowd protesting against Suomya in the court, and the footages he got from the journalist. He thinks this means Sukhinder has kept rental goons who intrigue the masses.
Sukhinder and Varun were in the office to meet Chaddha. Chaddha enters to first pray then takes his seat.
In the hall, Rajat asks Suomya to tell him her story. Suomya begins from the introduction of her parents.
There, Varun tells Chaddha that Surbhi was his wife. Harman wanted to kidnap Surbhi but took Suomya by mistake. After a few days of marriage, it was revealed that Suomya was a kinner. None accepted her in the beginning. Suomya blames him for killing his wife Surbhi and that he doesn’t take care of his son well. He wants the custody of his child. Chaddha says Varun must stick to one stance, which the child’s custody shouldn’t go to a kinner. They can show Suomya the right place of a kinner in the society and win the case. He demands his consultation fee, Sukhminder pays a whole bundle to Chaddha
After the completion of story, Rajat says the case is less of Soham’s custody and more of winning a respectable position to Suomya in the society.
At night, Preeto was excited and had prepared special Pulao. Sukhminder and Varun come over and ask if the celebration is for date of case. Harman forbids Sukhminder to ruin their day. Varun says they have completely ignored them. Sukhminder thinks he has the weakness of this kinner. Sukhminder says they have to go to hospital. Varun says Soham is admitted in hospital, he has 105 fever and difficulty in breathing. Sukhminder says doctors aren’t sure if he can be saved or not. Suomya wants to see Soham and tells them to make a video call, she needs to see him. Varun asks why they must listen to her. Suomya says Rajat Singh said so, he told them to make a recording if anyone wants to harass them; and if anything comes out to be a lie they will have to prove their character in the court. She asks if he would make the video call, or give a witness in the court straight away. Varun makes the video call. He tells his wife to turn the video towards Soham. Suomya was tearful while she watches Soham on screen. Varun says it’s done, shall they leave now. Suomya slaps on Varun’s face for an extremely cheap lie against Soham. She tells Sukhminder she can’t hit him because he is an elder, she won’t spare anyone who says a word against her son. Preeto slaps Sukhminder as she is older than him, she asks if Sukhminder has understood why he always get slapped and beaten by her. Harman says he has always heard stories of him being beaten up by Preeto, when he will be tamed.
Preeto asks the family to go for dinner. On the table, Harak Singh generously complements Preeto’s Pulao. Preeto says she was initially terrified to lose Soham. But Suomya’s mind worked well in time. Suomya says there are times in a mother’s life, when one has to work with brains.
Suddenly, the lights of the house go off. Harman goes out to check. Suomya goes to get the candles. Harman says only the lights of their house has been cut. The villagers come there and say they have disconnected the electricity of their house, they must now live in dark.
PRECAP: Harman untie Suomya’s hair. They get a call from Rajat who asks which doctor Surbhi was taken to after accident. Harman says it will take some time to find the file, its dark as the villagers cut the electric supply. Rajat tells him to find the file later, right now do what he says.
